Aromatic deception is about watching the sun rising from behind the mountains on a Monday morning, sitting behind clouded windows of your overpriced apartment. It’s about drinking coffee at 11 pm and going to sleep half an hour later. It’s about thinking and sorting thoughts; about practicing and putting yourself out there. Where? I don’t know. It’s what they say and that’s it. It’s about waking up one morning and realising how many lies you’ve been told to about life. It’s about observing life as it is and understanding that the lies were probably what they really believed, because life is complicated.
It’s about not having your shit together and not knowing what the f*ck you are doing in your thirties and about the fact that it’s more than ok.
Once a week I’m going to write about travelling when I travel but it’s not going to be a travel blog. I’m going to write about my job and my life but it’s not going to be a lifestyle blog. I’m going to write about things I see, people I meet and hopefully, when I’m done, I’ll see the story that is currently passing me by.
Now and then there will be a few more posts because I would love to write everyday but let’s be honest, that is not going to happen. Nonetheless I love to write and to bring myself to it, there will be at least one post a week.
Aromatic deception is for all of you thirty-something people out there trying to figure it out, eager to read about fellow beings. It’s for all of you twenty-something people out there trying to get ready for the big plunge. It’s for all of you, who are bored with your life and have nothing better to do then read the shit I write. For all people trying to see behind the curtains of life.
Just don’t take it too seriously.
